Grab your lederhosen because we have amped up Oktoberfest and will be offering lots of fun and festive activities, foods and drinks throughout the whole day!
Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 with daytime activities beginning at 10am on Ludington Avenue and James Street. Then, beginning at 6pm that evening, there will be the Oktoberfest Pub Crawl throughout Downtown Ludington!
The daytime activities will take place from 10am-4pm on Ludington Avenue and South James Street. The daytime activities consist of festive oompah music, crafters, Baby Badger rides, inflatables, pony rides, face painting and a scarecrow making workshop sponsored by the Ludington Area Center for the Arts! Oktoberfest is free to attend and participate. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
New this year is the addition of a Beirgarten located in the North James Street Plaza featuring Oktoberfest and Fall inspired beer and food, which will take place from 12-6pm! The Biergarten is free to attend and open to people of all ages. Those wishing to participate in the festivities will be required to show ID and purchase drink tokens.
The Oktoberfest Pub Crawl, which begins at 6pm, will be held at various locations throughout Downtown Ludington and conclude at Sportsman’s Irish Pub at 11pm for the grand prize drawings! Be one of the first 75 people to purchase your Pub Crawl Passport and receive a commemorative Pub Crawl Cup!
You can purchase your pub crawl card at the Biergarten or AJ’s Party Port, anytime that day. AJ’s Party Port is located at 423 S. James Street in Downtown Ludington!
