GENEALOGY CLASSES AT MASON COUNTY DISTRICT LIBRARY
Geneology at the MCDL
Mason County District Library will hold Basic Genealogy classes Tuesday, February 2, and a slightly more advanced class Tuesday, February 9, 6:00 pm at the Ludington Library.
Beginning family researchers will learn how to get started, what resources are available at the library and on the web. They will learn how to locate and use other local resources for their research. Students will have the opportunity to begin their search on the internet with the instructor’s assistance. Space is limited. Registration is REQUIRED. Please call 843-8465 to register. All Mason County District Library programs are free.
WINTER THAW OUT OPEN HOUSE AT MASON COUNTY DISTRICT LIBRARY
Snowy people of all sizes are invited to Thaw Out at the Mason County District Libraries in Ludington and Scottville Friday, February 5, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, February 6, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Puzzles, board games, and a craft activity will be available, as well as cocoa and cookies. Children under age 8 MUST be accompanied by an ADULT. ALL Mason County District Library programs are FREE.

Celebrate with enthusiasm at your Library! There will be a Mardi Gras Party at the Mason County District Library in Ludington Tuesday, February 16, at 4:00 pm. Fun activities, stories, and crafts for a joyful winter celebration. Children of all ages are invited to attend. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. ALL Mason County District Library programs are free of charge.

Be Creative at your Library! There will be a Valentine-Creating Party at the Mason County District Library in Ludington Thursday, February 4, at 4:00 pm, and at the Scottville Library Thursday, February 11 at 3:00 pm. CELEBRATE CHINESE NEW YEAR AT THE LIBRARY
Children of all ages are invited to celebrate Chinese New Year (a few days early) at Mason County District Library in Ludington, Thursday, February 11 at 4:00 pm. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. ALL Mason County District Library programs are free of charge.
