July 2019 in Downtown Ludington

Hello from the home of the Guinness World Record for the Largest Dessert Party! June sure was a blast! We hope you’ll join us in Ludington for more summer fun.

Can you believe this is the 14th year of our summer street parties?!?! 

At every event you’ll find:

  • Pony Rides
  • John Marek’s balloon animals and magic show
  • Baby Badger rides
  • Inflatables
  • The Sizzling Summer Singoff Competition
  • 15+ street food vendors
  • 40+ activity booths

July 12th features a rock climbing wall, music performances from Joey Mankus and Ravon Steely Rhoden, 

July 19th features Books Alive!, the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure, Quick Way’s Semi tours, the Lakeshore Pirate Heads ship, and music performances.

July 26th features the DDA’s ice rink with free skate rentals, the Old Engine Club show, music performances from Boy From School and Sunset Groove, and House of Flavors ice cream!

August 2nd features the Blessing of the Badges, emergency vehicle display, Michigan’s Funny Man Joel Tacey, and musical performances from the LACA Jam Session crew, the Cornerstone Baptist Praise Band and Talk Radio.

Our summer music series continues every Thursday from 5-8pm in the James Street Plaza.
