Ludington Lumber Days


Step into Ludington’s past and celebrate the rich lumber heritage that helped build our community during Ludington Lumber Days, a brand-new fall festival weekend packed with lumberjack-inspired fun, history, music, and adventure for all ages.

🪓 Friday, Oct. 3:

  • Plaidurday Pub Crawl downtown (6–9PM)

  • Photo exhibition (10AM-5PM), museum tours (1 & 3PM) - Mason County Historical Society

  • Logging history presentation (7PM) - Ludington Library

🍂 Saturday, Oct. 4:

  • Lumber Days Workout with HarborFit Studio at Legacy Plaza, including log rolls, ax throwing, stump jumps and more (10AM)

  • Beer Garden at Legacy Plaza with music, axe throwing & kids’ activities (1-6PM)

  • Fall Festival at Ludington State Park with wagon rides, bonfire, cider, face painting (1-5PM)

  • Logging reenactment at Historic White Pine Village (11AM-4PM)

  • Lumber-themed crafts at Sandcastles Children’s Museum (9:30AM-5PM)

  • Big Sable Lighthouse tours (10AM-5PM)

🌲 Sunday, Oct. 5:

  • Guided hike at Ludington State Park (10AM)

  • Ludington State Park History Walk (2PM)
